To change the time zone which Network Time will use to set the time, click this box and select from the menu. If your local time zone does not appear in the list or if you need to change a time zone’s configuration, choose “Add/Change Time Zone”. When this box is checked, Network Time will reset the time each time the Macintosh is restarted. To disable this feature, click this box. When this box is checked, Network Time will reset the time in the background according to the number of hours specified in the “hours” box. To disable this feature, click this box. When this box is checked, Network Time will display a message on the screen if an error occurs while setting the time. To disable this feature, click this box. When this box is checked, Network Time will attempt to set the time again if an error occurs in the number of minutes specified in the “mins” box. To disable this feature, click this box. When this box is checked, Network Time will wait until MacTCP is actually opened before it sets the time. This is useful if you use MacTCP over a network you must connect to by hand such as ARA, PPP or SLIP. To disable this feature, click this box. When this box is checked, Network Time will only use the new NTP protocol to set the time. To have Network Time fail-over to the old UDP Time protocol if NTP isn’t available, click this box.
